Care Package

Today we got a great package from my sister. She sent Titus a pair of shoes and some onesies/pajamas. He loves his new shoes. Which is great because I had been having a difficult time finding a pair that fit him well. He needs to wear some sort of socks or shoes in his walker because he goes so fast that he gets blisters on his toes. Last week he tore the skin off his big toe. She also sent him pajamas and onesies that are car themed. The one he has on in the pictures below says, "Little Speedster." It's very accurate!

Soaking Up the Sun

I turned Titus' SweetPeace so that he can look out his bedroom window and enjoy the sun shining in. He hadn't been into his SweetPeace for awhile but seems to like it again. He loves being outside and seems to like sitting by an open window as well.

He was waiting for me to get his bath ready...that is why he's half naked.

Next Up...Crawling

Titus is working towards crawling. I thought maybe he would be late with crawling because when I put him on his stomach he never used his arms to push up. He would arch his back and "swim" with his arms. He hit 7 months on Sunday and he decided it's time to strengthen his arms. It is amazing how quickly he is changing now. He is so much fun to watch as he learns these new things. He gets so proud of himself.

First Tooth

Titus got his first tooth yesterday at 7 months and one day old. I noticed it peeking through last night while feeding him dinner. That morning he had woken up at 4am and was ready to play. He wasn't grouchy or fussy, he was just up. He didn't go back to bed until 9am. I didn't think anything of it because he does that occasionally. We knew that he's been teething for awhile now. He'd been chewing on everything, but didn't seem to be in pain. I had been giving him homeopathic teething drops if I thought he was bothered by them at all. I am trying to avoid using Tylenol as much as possible. So I was very happy to see that the first tooth had come in without a lot of pain. We'll see how he does with the rest of them.

Time to start brushing...

Founders Day with the Family

We are excited to have my mom's sister's family in town this week! They are having their family vacation in Florida this year. It's been great to have some family nearby. On Saturday we took my aunt Jean and my cousin Pam to Deerfield Beach for Founder's Day Weekend. There was a carnival, parade, and bed races. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed spending time together.

Here Comes Trouble

Here is Titus in his newest toy. I bought him a walker last week and he just loves it. After only a couple days of "practice" he is now zipping around the house! The only problem is, he is now able to get into things that he couldn't before. I've had to do my first little bit of child-proofing!

Sitting Up Straight

Titus is now sitting on his own. He started when we got back to Florida after Christmas, but he was a little unsteady. Now he is sitting like a pro! I still always keep something (his Boppy usually) behind him just in case. It is incredible to see the changes in him. He is really growing up quickly. It makes me sad that you all don't get to share in these milestones, but I do hope that seeing pictures helps!

He really is such a happy little guy!
