Last year at Easter I was missing the Calvary Chapel outdoor service. This year we were back. And it was as wonderful as I remember. There was one service this year and it was held at the FAU new football stadium. I've heard there were 30,000 people attending. It was a beautiful day. Blue sky, puffy white clouds. We took a blanket, toys and snacks and sat on the field with the boys. They did really well and it was nice to see them being a part of our service for a change.
Titus stayed busy driving his cars. Of course.

After the church service we made a stop at Deerfield Beach. The boys were still in their Easter outfits. Steve and I managed to change into our bathing suits in the car. Hoping no one was watching. :) I had plans for a quiet little family picnic on the beach. I had put various lunch items in plastic Easter eggs to "hide" on the beach for the boys. We arrived and it was packed. Absolutely packed. Reminded me of the year my mom came down shortly before Easter and we tried to have a hunt on the beach. A man came and laid down on his towel right in the middle of our eggs.
Titus filled the eggs with sand {after getting the food out} and said, "They're maracas!" And then did this little dance-

Quincy was determined to sit in his new Easter bucket-

I just love him.

The boys started this little project together. They found a hole in one of the rocks and were filling it with wet sand {"cement"} and sea weed. They worked so well together. And worked at it for so long. I love seeing them playing outside. Just being boys.
