Titus Goes To School

Titus has been really into imaginary play lately. He'll pretend to be an animal or pretend to see an animal behind a piece of furniture. Steve tells him a story every night at bedtime and I wonder if that has added to his imagination. On Sunday morning he found his little lunchbox in the cabinet, packed it with trucks, and said he was going to school. Steve then brought him the little desk and set him up for school. Of course the teacher in Steve quickly fed into his "game." The desk was my moms when she was a girl, then I played with it as a girl. This is the first that Titus has played with it. He kept running to his room to get more books.

He sat for a while "reading"...then said he was going to the park.
